Canonical public policy
This complete policy describes the exact offline behavior of the Seed & Sketch Android application.
ACORN4ALL INC is responsible for the Seed & Sketch Android application, package com.acorn4all.seedandsketch. This policy applies only to the installed Android app and is effective August 3, 2026. The separate public support website is informational and is accessed through a web browser, not through an in-app network connection.
Seed & Sketch is an offline creative-session guide for families, youth participants, guardians, and authorized adult facilitators. A responsible adult should choose age-appropriate activities, supervise materials and movement, obtain any required permission, and remain accountable for the session. The app is not designed for unsupervised communication between adults and minors.
The app provides creative prompts, rhythm and listening activities, material-preparation checklists, session-planning tools, inclusion suggestions, private reflections, care guidance, and an educational source shelf. These are general-purpose offline resources created for the app; they are not announcements, enrollment offers, or representations that ACORN4ALL INC operates any particular program, event, partnership, or service.
Seed & Sketch does not collect or transmit personal data to ACORN4ALL INC or any server. It does not request names, email addresses, phone numbers, account identifiers, precise location, photographs, audio, contacts, payment information, advertising identifiers, or device identifiers. The app has no server connection and does not upload user content.
The app may save selected preferences, session-plan choices, kit-checklist status, activity progress, and reflection text in app-private storage on the device. This local state supports continuity between app sessions. It is not synchronized, transmitted, shared with the publisher, or used to build a profile.
Seed & Sketch is not a records system and should not be used for child profiles, attendance, medical details, disability records, safeguarding reports, behavioral assessments, legal matters, school records, or other sensitive information. Reflection fields are optional and intended for brief, non-identifying creative observations. Adults should not enter a child’s full name, contact details, precise location, diagnosis, or confidential circumstances.
Seed & Sketch does not request Internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, storage, notification, Bluetooth, or advertising permissions. Android may create an internal package-scoped permission for framework operation; it is not a user data permission and does not grant the app access to other apps or personal information.
The app has no user accounts, login, registration, membership profile, or cloud identity. Because no account is created, there is no account-deletion process. Local app state can be removed using the in-app reset control, Android’s Clear storage control, or by uninstalling the app.
Seed & Sketch contains no advertising, analytics, attribution, behavioral tracking, telemetry, crash-reporting service, social-media SDK, remote configuration, or third-party data-collection SDK. It does not access an advertising ID or create cross-app or cross-site profiles.
The app does not send app data to ACORN4ALL INC, service providers, advertisers, data brokers, schools, partners, or other third parties. The publisher does not sell or share app data because it does not receive app data. Any person who can access an unlocked device may be able to view locally saved app state, so guardians and facilitators should apply appropriate device controls.
The installed app has no web links, contact form, email intent, file export, share action, upload, download, or cloud synchronization. It does not initiate network requests. If a user independently visits the public support website or sends email from a separate browser or mail app, that activity occurs outside Seed & Sketch and is governed by the chosen browser, mail provider, hosting provider, and applicable terms.
Local preferences, plans, checklist status, progress, and optional reflections remain on the device until the user changes or resets them, clears the app’s storage, or uninstalls the app. ACORN4ALL INC has no server copy and therefore cannot retrieve or retain this local state.
Users can delete local state with the in-app reset control, Android’s Clear storage control, or uninstall. Android backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for Seed & Sketch, so app state is not intentionally included in Android backup or migration. The app provides no cloud restore or publisher-operated recovery service.
App state is kept in Android app-private storage and is not intentionally exposed to other ordinary apps. Seed & Sketch avoids network transmission and minimizes requested permissions. No device or software can be guaranteed completely secure; screen access, device compromise, operating-system vulnerabilities, or shared-device use may expose local content. Use device authentication and avoid entering identifying or confidential information.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or create public child profiles. It has no chat, direct messaging, follower system, public gallery, precise-location feature, or mechanism for adults to contact minors. Guardians and authorized facilitators remain responsible for consent, supervision, material safety, respectful participation, photography decisions, and compliance with their own safeguarding procedures.
Seed & Sketch offers general creative and facilitation ideas, not medical, mental-health, occupational-therapy, educational, legal, emergency, or safeguarding advice. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or guarantee any outcome. Adapt activities to participants and stop if anyone experiences pain, distress, sensory overload, unsafe behavior, or an urgent concern. For emergencies or individual needs, contact qualified local professionals or emergency services.
This policy may be updated when app behavior, legal requirements, or publisher practices change. A revised policy will display a new effective date on the public privacy page and, where appropriate, in a later app release. Users may choose whether to save optional local reflections and may reset local app state at any time. Material changes will not retroactively create collection or transmission that did not occur.
